Overview

Call categorization is used to tag calls in real-time to help you attach useful information to each recording.

For instance, if you know that calls coming in to a particular range of DDIs should all be 'Sales Calls', you can create a Call Category for these DDIs. Then when you come to search for these calls, you can select 'Sales Calls' as a filter option.

When a Category has been enabled then any calls from then on will be checked to see if they meet the requirements.
