Email Configuration
The system uses email as a key alert, notification and messaging system and needs to be configured correctly. There are 3 main areas where email is used:
- Internal Monitoring: There is an internal monitoring system that can report any potential problems or issues when they occur and the system can also send out emails to alert the administrator about these problems. For example the server will email an alert out on low disk space and without having the email configured this would not be sent and then recordings could be lost.
- New account details and password reminders for users.
- Emailing of call recordings.

Configuring email is a mandatory requirement and without this the system will generate alerts until this is made available. |
