Uses and Business Units

The system uses the concept of Users to control security and access to the call recorder and to tag against calls to be able to search and playback.

Each User can have a single agent id and/or multiple extensions associated with the User. When a call is handled by this agent/extension the User is tagged against this call.

Users can either be created manually or automatically whenever a new agent/extension is created. This needs to be determined before installation to ensure that all calls are tagged correctly.
