A new feature has been introduced allowing users to delete recordings from the system. This has been introduced in response to GDPR to give users the ability to remove personal data contained in call recordings from the system. This feature is licensed and is access to it is controlled through a new security profile option.

New persistent options have been added to Exclusion and Inclusion list to provide users with the ability to ask for permission to record at the beginning of a call. For more information, please refer to the Exclusion List section.
This release includes a complete overhaul of the archiving, introducing a new centralized Network Share configuration section. Secondary Archive and DVD archiving have now been removed from the solution.
Due to the archiving update, any archiving must be reconfigured after upgrading to 4.0. |
In addition to the existing Synway based SIP Trunk recording, Xarios Call Recorder now supports SIP Trunk and Extension recording natively, without the need for external drivers/tools. This allows for improved virtualization support due to the removal of requirements for 3rd party licensing dongles.

Support for the Web Browser Plugin for recording pause/resume has been removed in this release. Customers using the plugin should move to using the Windows Desktop Client. |
The following features have been removed from Xarios Call Recorder in release 4.0. If these features are currently in use, do NOT upgrade to release 4.
The Synway drivers have been updated to the 5400 series.
