Xarios Call Recorder supports various types of IP based call recording for IP trunks and extensions. The list below shows the types of recording supported:

• SIP Trunks -> Generic SIP Trunks
• SIP Extensions -> Generic SIP Extensions
• RTP Extension -> Proprietary IP Extensions that use RTP for audio

IP Recording Configuration

The system can record IP call traffic using the solution's built in XARSip and the configuration is detailed here SIP/RTP recording

This covers configuring the following required information:

Mirror Ports

Select which network interfaces on the server will be providing the mirrored SIP/RTP traffic for the system to record.

Packet Filters

Specify which ports the system should be monitoring for SIP/RTP traffic.

Addresses

Specify the IP address of the PBX so that the system can tell the direction of IP traffic.
