Recording Sources
Configuration > Servers Settings > Recording > Recording Sources

The recording sources section provides control of how the audio from telephone calls will be captured. Depending on the type of calls to be recorded, the recording source will be different.

 

Standard Recording Interfaces

Xarios Call Recorder supports recording of trunk and extension using the following recording interfaces:

Type Description
E1 & T1 Interfaces This is for PRI, ISDN30 trunk connections using E1/T1.
Digital Extension Interfaces This is for digital extension side lines.
Basic Rate (BRI) Interfaces This is for basic rate (BRI) trunk.
Analogue Interfaces This is for analogue lines.
SIP/IP RTP This if for SIP and Other RTP extensions/trunks.

 

Telephone System Specific Recording Interfaces

 In addition to the standard interfaces, Xarios Call Recorder supports these telephone system specific recording interfaces:

Type Description
Mitel SRC Interfaces This is for Mitel SRC extensions.

Once the recording source required has been configured, devices to be recorded need to be configured in the Recorded Devices section.
