Mitel SRC Interfaces
Configuration > Servers Settings > Recording > Recording Sources > Mitel SRC Interfaces

Overview

The system can record Mitel IP devices by using the Secure Recording Connector (SRC) feature of the Mitel Border Gateway (MBG). Each of the devices that needs to be recorded has to be connected via the MBG and the system connects to the MBG via a secure authenticated connection and receives an unencrypted copy of the voice call.

The G.729 codec is NOT a supported configuration.

Configuration

To record the devices the system needs to be configured and registered with all of the MBGs that are to be used for the SRC connections. Multiple MBGs can be configured to support the failover and load balancing features when Mitel MBG clustering is been used.

To configure devices to be recorded on the MBG:

  1. For each device to be recorded this requires a Mitel SRC TAP license installed and available on the MBG, this is in addition to the Xarios device license. The current licenses installed on the MBG can be see on the Status -> Dashboard page of the MBG server.
  2. The MBG needs to be have the Call recording option set to True to enable the recording feature. This can be found on the Configuration -> Settings -> Global device options page of the MBG server.
  3. Configure the Mitel MBG Link.
  4. Configure the Mitel Recorded Devices.
The Mitel MBG indirect recording feature is currently NOT supported.

To configure the MBG see the Mitel MBG Link section for details.
