Mirror Ports
Configuration > Servers Settings > Recording > Recording Sources > IP Recording > Mirror Ports

This system can collect SIP/RTP traffic from one mirror port. This section provides a list of all network adapters configured on the server. The port mirroring network adapters that are configured on the server need selecting here.

The system needs to be able to receive all the SIP/RTP traffic that is sent and received from each device that is to be recorded. The easiest way to do this is to have the PBX's network connection mirrored and any point to point audio disabled. This will then ensure that all the SIP/RTP traffic flows through this connection.

As the network topology of each site can be different this may not be possible. Multiple ports in different locations so that complete coverage of all the SIP/RTP traffic can be provided will need to be combined with a network switch into a single mirror port for the system.

Not all network hardware, i.e. switches, supports configuring a mirror port. Check your hardware manufacturers specifications to ensure the are compatible.
